Rent Protection Warranty

The Warranty Hub's Rent Guarantee warranties provides landlords with rent protection from day one with no excess to pay. Furthermore with The Warranty Hub’s guaranteed rent warranty you can make a claim once the rent is 7 days in arrears and settlement is made 14 days after the date of claim to minimise the risk of financial hardship to the landlord.

The Warranty Hub also provides the Tenant's Guarantor Scheme, this is designed for tenants that may have had some financial or personal circumstance that has affected their ability to rent property through reputable agencies; The Tenant Guarantor scheme will consider tenants that maybe self-employed, bankrupt, have historic CCJ’s or even in receipt of housing benefit.

How it works

The warranty is purchased within 30 days of the start of tenancy and provides a renewable 6 or 12 month cover.

If the tenant fails to pay the rent within 7 days of the agreed monthly date, the landlord or their agent can make a claim against the Rent Warranty.

We will contact the tenant to establish why payment has not been made and try to make arrangement for the payment to be made by the tenant as quickly as possible. If we are unable to encourage the tenant to make payment, we will make the rent payment direct to the agent or landlords within 14 days of claim. This means the landlord is guaranteed payment within the same month due.
